Tawny Owl - An Intimate Moment - a photo on Flickriver

I made this and other images at a hide located on the edge of a woodland in South Wales (Nr Newport), which is owned and run by Ian Howells. I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail that Ian has put into building his hide and set up for Buzzards, Woodland/Garden Birds and Tawny Owls and includes a low level reflection pool. There isn't much that Ian hasn't thought through, he's very knowledgeable, extremely helpful, flexible and to top it off, a real gentleman too. Ian can provide instruction and a certain amount of equipment if it's something you just want to try before investing in (especially night photography).
