laig bay & rum at dusk from the crags of beinn bhuidhe above cleadale, eigg

            On our 4th evening I took a break from the shoreline at Laig Bay & nipped up a path behind our cottage that weaved through the cliffs & crags of Beinn Bhuidhe. You can see the Outer Isles (Heaval on Barra)floating in the orange haze on the horizon. At the extreme left tip of Rum is the light of Hyskeir/Oigh-sgeir lighthouse which flashed every 30secs or so. One of the last lights to be automated it used to boast a 1-hole golf course. The light-trail at the bottom of frame is fortuitous- there isn't a lot of traffic on Eigg! You can also see the white minibus belonging to our accommodation at bottom right.
