Monarch Butterfly Macro - a photo on Flickriver

This is really fun LARGE

Strobist: 100mm macro lens with 68mm of extension, plus a reversed 50mm lens at the end of all that. This whole rig was almost touching the wing! Lit with a bare AB800 (with 7" reflector to help aim the light) directly to the right of the wing and on full power.
