Carpinteria Bluffs Rocks - a photo on Flickriver

            I had a most excellent evening up at Carpinteria Bluffs Beach today. After visiting on New Years day and seeing all the rocks that had been exposed I was hungry to go up there and get the area with some clouds.

 Today I struck the jackpot. the tide was low and identical looking to last week. the clouds were great. Even before sunset things looked fantastic. the sunset was glorious, kind of a two stage, with color, clearing to a few minutes of golden and then fantastic color to close out the day.
