Weeping. Coix lacryma-jobi, Job's Tears, Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

            The wind and rain drove me into the Hot Glass House of the Hortus. Here's Job's Tears, a pretty grass-like plant that hails from tropical Asia but is now grown in many warm humid lands. The name Job's Tears comes from the tiny, tear-shaped white kernels or seeds; why 'Job' I don't know nor who first used that name in this context. 
This grain is used as grains are - as food stuff, as distillation basics and because of their durability often too in various kinds of jewelry.
