            If you've looked at Iris pseudacorus, Yellow Flag Iris, closely you've probably noticed small black bugs. Here in the photo is one of them: the Iris Weevil, Mononychus punctum-album. The 'white spot' of the Latin specific you can see a bit blurred on the back of our insect.
I just love that nose! Cute. And if you're nosey yourself, Beetle's posterior is worth a look as well so see inset top left. The Weevil as a whole: inset top right.
