Seal Beach 1973 - Honing Driving Skills

            Circa 1973. My friend at the wheel of his Chevrolet Vega GT practices bad-weather driving in a deserted beach parking lot slickened by a mixture of rain, sand and dirt.

Viewing northeast near the intersection of Ocean Avenue and 1st Street in Seal Beach, which is at the top of the lot's entry ramp visible in the background. The structures shown have been demolished and replaced by other residences.

My friend and I were both residents of College Park East in Seal Beach.
