Cathédrale St.-Sauveur - Aix-en-Provence, France CRW_6192rt 2

            The work of Brother Jean-Marie Isnard, completed in 1746.  

The instrumental part has been restored and updated several times (including by the famous Parisian organ-builder Aristide Cavaille-Coll, in 1800); the housing has also been rebuilt, while retaining the original appearance.

In the interest of symmetry, a facsimile of this organ housing was constructed in 1750, and mounted to face it on the opposite side of the nave.
