Lugdunum Musée (alternate) - a photo on Flickriver

            As is the case with many museums, sometimes the architecture of the building is as interesting as the museum's contents - this was certainly the case with Lyon's Fourviere's Gallo-Roman Museum!  

The museum is built like a bunker and burrows into the mountain side with two portals overlooking the amphitheater next door. This is the entry stairwell from the upper level.  The museum is worth a visit, particularly if you like Roman history.
