607 (ex-DB 143 310) van de MEG (Mitteldeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH) te Leschede op 2-10-2015

            Vrijdag 2 oktober 2015 stond ik weer eens aan de Emslandstrecke. Een mooi punt om te staan is Leschede. Ik ben er overigens al jaren niet meer geweest. Die middag pakte ik in twee uurtjes zeven goederentreinen. Anno 2025 bijna ondenkbaar. Er reden toen ook nog 140's en 143's. Een vertrouwde verschijning was ook altijd de vuiltrein tussen Dörpen en Salzbergen die werd gereden door een gave V100-klassieker. Een andere vaste trein was de zogenaamde knikketeltrein vanuit Emden die met een beetje geluk door een oude E40 werd gereden. Tegenwoordig moet je blij zijn als je een paar van deze wagens in de gemengde goederentrein aantreft.
