RXP 1251 bij Beerze op 27-4-2023

            Op Koningsdag 27 april 2023 werd er speciaal voor de NVBS-rit met de gave RXP 1251 een dagje "vrij" genomen. Zo kon ik me met een goede reden onttrekken aan de markt in onze woonplaats. Het hoofddoel van de dag werd verwezenlijkt bij Beerze. De weersvoorspellingen voor de dag waren wisselend, maar er konden toch nog wat platen worden geschoten in het zonnetje.

Eerder was er sprake van dat de NVBS-trein van Amersfoort naar Bad Bentheim zou rijden en dan via de lijn Bad Bentheim-Coevorden en uiteindelijk van Coevorden weer naar Amersfoort. Gelukkig was er qua zonnestand gekozen voor de route in omgekeerde volgorde en zo kon er op de grotendeels enkelsporige lijn Zwolle-Emmen een fraaie zonneplaat worden geschoten.

Met een ruime marge werd er vanuit Holten naar Beerze gereden. Daar waren al een aantal spotters aanwezig. Daarna kwamer er nog aardig wat spotters bij. Met een zeer geringe vertraging kwam de RXP 1251 voorbij met de NVBS-excursietrein 39446 Amersfoort CS-Coevorden bij Beerze. Deze prachtige loc mag met bouwjaar 1951 toch wel een echte klassieker worden genoemd! De loc heeft jaren dienst gedaan als NS 1215.
