ČDC 388 007-7 bij Ahlen op 1-3-2023

            Van dinsdag 28 februari t/m donderdag 2 maart 2023 was ik samen met mijn vrouw een paar dagen in Duitsland. Door mijn vrouw werd er gewinkeld in de verschillende steden rondom ons hotel en de winkeltijd werd door mij benut aan het spoor.

Naast een bezoekje aan de vertrouwde Emslandstrecke werden ook korte bezoekjes gebracht aan de hoofdlijn Bielefeld-Hamm en de Rollbahn. Woensdag 1 maart was er wat meer tijd om wat verder weg te trekken. Mijn vrouw pakte de trein van Lengerich naar Osnabrück. Daarna reed ik door naar een stek bij Westbevern aan de Rollbahn. Rond het middaguur werd een stek bij Ahlen bezocht.

Ahlen ligt aan de hoofdlijn Bielefeld-Hamm. Deze lijn is viersporig, Hier lopen een gemengde hoofdlijn (personenvervoer en in mindere mate goederenvervoer) en een goederenhoofdlijn parallel. Het kan er druk zijn qua cargo. Deze dag was het gelukkig niet rustig, maar ook niet heel druk. Er werden een paar gave cargo's, veel ICE  en een IC met Werbe-101 gescoord.  Langs deze lijn zijn door de vele begroeiing langs en soms zelfs tussen de lijnen niet veel geschikte spotplekken. Een aantal jaren terug stond ik ook wel eens bij Bielefeld Ummeln, maar die plek heb ik niet bezocht omdat daar waarschijnlijk de begroeiing tussen de twee parallelle lijnen te hoog is.

Hier zien we de ČDC 388 007-7 met een staaltrein richting Hamm bij Ahlen op 1-3-2023. Zo vormt deze foto een mooi bruggetje tussen mijn foto's van Tsjechië en Duitsland ;-).
