DB V160 218 451-3 te Bad Harzburg op 3-10-2014

            Op 3 en 4 oktober 2014 waren we twee dagen in de Harz en we hebben veel moois gezien op spoors gebied! Een erg indrukwekkend en prachtig gebied in Duitsland. Naast de bekende stoomtreinen op de smalspoorlijnen is de seinbrug bij Bad Harzburg ook altijd weer indrukwekkend. Al helemaal omdat vanaf december 2014 de bekende en mooie diesellocs van de serie 218 niet meer in Bad Harzburg zouden komen. Vanaf dat moment ging Erixx de dienst uitvoeren met Lint54. Voor ons een goede reden om nog eens dit markante punt te bezoeken.

's Ochtends hadden we Goslar bezocht en na de lunch zijn we naar Bad Harzburg gereden. Aangekomen in Bad Harzburg konden we nog net de 218 474-5 fotograferen die met RE 14068 Bad Harzburg-Hannover Hauptbahnhof het station van Bad Harzburg met ene flinke gang verlaat. Daarna duurt het nog twintig minuten voordat de volgende 218 binnenkomt. En dit geval de 218 451-3. Op de foto zien we de 218 451-3 binnenkomen met de RE 14067 Hannover Hauptbahnhof-Bad Harzburg. Deze zal dan vervolgens 1,5 uur blijven staan op het eindstation Bad Harzburg. We waren overigens niet de enigen die hier stonden. We stonden ongeveer met tien fotografen de mooie trein uit te zwaaien.
