            Een bijzondere plek voor treinenspotters is de brug over de Moldau bij Bechyně. Deze is zelfs het decor geweest binnen een aflevering van de bekende TV-serie Rail Away. Aangezien het  maar een half uur rijden was van onze camping naar deze mooie plek, kon ik het niet laten om een passage van een trein mee te nemen in onze vakantie. De brug wordt ook door auto's, fietsers en voetgangers gebruikt. Als de trein de brug oprijdt, moet het verkeer in de richting Bechyně stoppen voor de brug. 

De brug is gelegen in de lijn Bechyně-Tábor. Deze spoorlijn is nog de enige lijn is Tsjechië onder gelijkstroom en 1,5 kV. De spoorlijn wordt tegenwoordig hoofdzakelijk bereden door de dieseltreinstellen van de serie 814. Twee slagen per dag op voor fotografen niet de beste tijden wordt er nog gereden met de elektrische locomotieven van de serie 113. In de zomermaanden word in het weekenden gereden met de oude elektrische locs van de serie 100 (E422) en op enkele zaterdagen ook nog met een oud museumtreinstel van de serie EM400.

Op de foto zien we de zestig jaren oude E422 0003 met de volgens het Tsjechische spoorboekje rijdende Os 28413 Bechyně-Tábor de brug passeren. Voorafgaand aan de foto waren er nog enkele hachelijke momenten. Eerst kwam er een vrouw met een hond mijn beeld binnenwandelen terwijl de trein op de achtergrond al aan kwam rijden. Toen zij voorbij was, kwam er een grote groep fietsers aan die werd gepasseerd door een auto. Daarna kwam er nog een auto heel langzaam aanrijden. Deze reed een heel stuk parallel aan de trein, maar gaf op het laatste moment toch nog net genoeg gas.
