CFL 1819 te Liège Guillemins op 14-7-1998 (SCAN)

            Tijdens één van mijn reisjes naar België kwam ik in 1998 in Liège terecht. Op 16 juli 1998 moest ik mijn OV-kaart inleveren, omdat ik vanaf dat moment officieel geen student meer was. Zodoende heb ik zoveel mogelijk vanuit Wageningen gereisd met mijn kaart. Voor het stukje Visé Grens-Liège moest ik uiteraard wel afrekenen met de NMBS.

Op 14 juli 1998 zie ik de 1819 van de Luxemburgse spoorwegen al grommend en uitlaatgassen uitbrakend het Luikse station Liège-Guillemins uitrijden met IR 119 Liège Guillemins-Luxemburg aan de haak. In 1998 verkeerde het station nog in de oude staat. Tegenwoordig is het een heel indrukwekkend en modern station.
