"Garden Beauty" Anna's Hummingbird - a photo on Flickriver

            Hi friends! Hope you are all continuing to stay safe and well. This lovely little hummingbird just brightened my day, and I hoping it will your's as well... :-)

Due to the Covid crisis and hence, more time at home, I finally have a colorful and cheery backyard! Throughout the years, our incredibly sweet and lovable golden retriever undermined our attempts to have a nice yard with his rambunctious, or as my husband calls them, "intentionally destructive" ways. :-) With Wylie slowing down a bit at 13.5 years old and some creative gardening techniques, we finally achieved our little bit of paradise in our small backyard! Now every morning, I wake up delighted to see what new little visitors are coming by to enjoy our bright and beautiful garden. One of the most frequent guests are hummingbirds. These amazingly beautiful, incredibly feisty and endlessly energetic little birds bring us hours of enjoyment and entertainment!
