St George's Monastery from above Wadi Qelt

            Originally established in the 5th century, this late 19th century re-build of St George's Greek Orthodox monastery, clings to the cliff face above Wadi Qelt in the West Bank, on the old road between Jerusalem and Jericho. Believed by some to be the place where Elijah was fed by ravens.
