Round tower church

            Round-towered church within a shield. Despite the number of round tower churches to be found in East Anglia, this is undoubtedly a continental church, very similar to the ones seen in early Flemish and French glass with their conical slate roofs. Detail of window  set with fragments of early glass of both local and continental origin. Marsham Chapel of St Margaret's church, Stratton Strawless, Norfolk.
