First Raindrops In The Pool to Begin Tucson's 2011 Summer Monsoon

            Lots of ripples where raindrops fell. The rain shower lasted just a few minutes. This was taken on Wednesday, June 29th, at 4:46 PM, Mountain Time in Tucson.
 
It is now 3:34 AM on Thursday, June 30th, and it is really raining, with thunder and lightning. I think this is the start of or summer monsoon. I pray for a long and steady slow rain for at least a month, maybe more. We are in the midst of a severe ten year drought.

I have post-processed the original to highlight the riipples in the pool from the raindrops.
