Cosmic Microwave Background iPhone App by Qingqing Mao <<>> IMG_6459

            This is a marvelous little app called CMB Maps, created by Qingqing Mao of Vanderbilt University for astronomy education and demonstration purposes., It presents measurements of Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation by three instruments on subsequent missions.

The measurements show the uniformity with variations of the early universe after electromagnetic quanta could survive the dense environment of the Big Bang.
