Under African Skies: Mesosaurus Quiver Tree

            This Panorama is somehow the result of a one year learning process: My last years attempt to photograph the Milky Way where only comprised of one layer, so the foreground landscape is noisy and out of focus.
This time I took two sets: one for the milky way and one for the foreground:
The Milky Way Panorama was taken at 1:30am and consist of 20 images in 3 rows, taken with ISO6400, F/2,8 13s. The forground I took at the exact same spot but at 6:10am, just one row of 6 images, ISO2000, f/4.0 3,2s (and focused on the tree). But then came the tough part; being a beginner on PS I learned so much about layers, masks, merging and and and. And so many attempts, until I am quite satisfied with this result
