Invisible Burden - a photo on Flickriver

Invisible Burden

            A photo from my time spent in Miami's "Graffiti Kingdom."  The sun had long since set, but I continued to use the available lighting for a while.  I would have liked to have explored the possibilities of this location further (the entire building was painted in these black and white stripes), but it was an area too "exposed" for me, i.e., it was facing an intersection, which made this brief shoot a bit stressful.  Went back and forth on how much contrast to use.  It seemed each choice had its own pluses and minuses but finally decided on this fairly strong contrast--though I may yet change it (I've already replaced this photo twice, each one being slightly more contrasty than the previous).
