Teton Cloudscape

            Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

As usual with these landscapes, best see in lightbox, i.e., click on the expand arrows at upper right. It's even more so than usual due to the Tetons being so small in relation to everything else.

From my 2022 trip to the Northwest. The Tetons were a considerable detour from my immediate goal of Portland, Oregon, but how could I, why would I resist? I've always considered them the most beautiful mountains in the continental US. I'd been there once before as a 14 (?) year old and it was high time I repaid them a visit. I wish I'd stayed a little longer (a little less than 2 full days) and don't know why I didn't--other than I had many other stops and thousands of miles still awaiting me.

This is very similar to an earlier color upload, taken seconds before this one. I always thought B&W was actually the better choice and don't recall why I originally decided on color. I began processing for monochrome shortly after completing the color version but never completed the task until now.
