The Woods of Smaland - a photo on Flickriver

            Stanley the cat... who needs an alarm clock, he is used to me getting up for work at 0450 and letting him out to terrorise the neighbourhood, he has no respect for weekends. Fortunately this morning he refrained from some of his more extreme efforts to wake me up.

"did you have trouble getting up this morning ?" 
"no once I had prised the cat off my testicles it was plain sailing"

Yes this morning he didn't bite me anywhere sensitive and settled for wailing until I surrendered. Driving around the countryside here it's either farmland or deep thick fairytale woodland. The woods are full of old houses, abandoned small holdings and plenty of tiny stone bridges like this one.
