37427 Penrhyndeudraeth 180787 - a photo on Flickriver

            Hell Fire! Eurwyn 'Mex' gives 37427 full power as it departs Penrhyndeudraeth with 1A44, the 08:00 Pwllheli-Euston on 23 June 1987. Was lucky to have had a cab ride from Barmouth to Pwllheli on this the previous night, with Bob 'Bala' in charge! The sidings here had been removed a couple of years previously, leaving this once important station with just the main running line and basic facilities on the platform.
