Information:

Etwa zwei Kilometer westlich des Jupiter Heilgtums liegt in einem aufgelassenen Steinbruch der „Stein des Südens“. Drei seiner „Vettern“ sind auf der Westseite des Tempel-Podiums (Trilithon) eingebaut. Mit einer Länge von 21,3 Metern, einer Höhe von 4,3 Metern und einer Breite von 4,6 Metern ist er angeblich der größte Stein der Welt. Sein Gewicht wird auf 1.200 bis 2.000 Tonnen geschätzt.

In an old quarry about two Kilometers west of the Jupiter Sanctuary you can find the "Stone of the South". Three of its "cousins" are part of the so called "Trilithon" in the podium on the western side of the Jupiter temple. A measurement of 21,3 by 4,3 by 4,6 meters and an estimated weight of 1.200 to 2.000 tons makes it the largest stone in the world.
