Looking at the Zugspitz and cable car route

            I saw some photos of the Eibsee and it looked great. It was about 10 miles from Garmisch so it would be easy to check out. I just wasn't sure if the best lighting would be in the morning or late afternoon. We went there early and of course the best lighting is late afternoon. We decided to walk around the lake and take in the Zugspitz (the highest peak in Germany). Lovely walk and beautiful scenery. Yep, we need to come back later in the day - unfortunately the weather had other ideas so we didn't make it back on this trip - but there is always next time!
