Tango dancing, Buenos Aires, Argentina

            Tango dancing is seen all over the city, in the street and in restaurants. The dance originated in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires and Montevideo in the 1890s.  In early 20th century, dancers and orchestras from Buenos Aires travelled to Europe. The dance became very popular in Paris, and soon followed by London, Berlin, New York and the rest of the world.
