Disneyland Visit 2018-01-21 - Downtown Disney - Disney Dress Shop - Star Wars Dress

            I visited Disneyland today. It was sunny, 65 F with a light to moderate crowd. They had portions of Town Square and Central Plaza blocked off for refurbishment. The Star Wars virtual reality attraction VOID Step Beyond Reality opened last week. There was a line of people waiting to get in. I took photos of some of the dresses in the Disney Dress Shop. 

I got two LE pins that were recently released: the Cheshire Cat Lattes with Character pin of the month (LE 3000, $16.99) and the Minnie Mouse Rock the Dots 2018 pin (LE 3000, $14.99). I got a postcard of a new Ursula portrait by Jasmine Becket-Griffith as well as a postcard an older Ariel piece. Being that tomorrow is National Polka Dot Day, Disneyland had Minnie Mouse merchandise displays everywhere, as well as a Minnie Rock the Dots dance party at the Downtown Disney Live! performance stage. 

There were cute new keychains featuring the heads of the Fab Five characters as tiny purses, that really open like actual purses. There were also various new(ish) snowglobes and mugs. In Disneyana, they displayed new artwork of a collage of Disney animated characters by Tim Rogerson ('Magical Storybook', LE 1500, $150), that I liked very much so I bought it. There was also a new full body artwork of Tinker Bell by Darren Wilson that was true to the original character from Peter Pan ('The Original Tinker Bell', LE 95, $395). 

I had a decent score in Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, but only ranked #50. All the top ten scores were by DLH again (and were all more than 2 million). I had late lunch at Plaza Inn, then left for home.
