Medicom RAH Elsa in Designer SQ Elsa's Gown - Standing - Midrange Front View

            Medicom RAH Elsa in Designer SQ Elsa's Gown.  She is standing, supported by a Kaiser stand (not included).

I swap the outfit of my Medicom Real Action Hero Elsa 12 inch action figure with that of the Disney Store's DFDC Snow Queen Elsa's. It is more movie accurate than the Medicom gown. It is a little too short for Medicom Elsa (even after taking out the leg extensions to shorten her by about 1/4 inch) and a little too large around her shoulders, but it does look very good on her. 

She has two hinge joints in her back, at the waist and at her chest, so she can bend both forward and back like a gymnast. Her torso has a very flexible 'skin' covering her internal structure that allows it to bend without having external joints. She has double hinge jointed elbows and knees, so she can fold her arms and legs almost all the way. She also has double jointed neck, so she can bend her head back and forwards much more than a DS princess doll. By the way, she has a 1/4 inch extension in her upper leg, that makes her 12 inches tall to the top of her head, or 12 1/2 inches tall to the top of her molded hair. I'm not sure that she really was a six footer in the animated movie.

 I like her more and more, the more I play with her. I like her more than RAH Anna, especially her face. I think she is the best 12 inch representation of SQ Elsa. 

But she isn't perfect. Her hair is a dirty greenish blonde, which is far from the platinum blonde of the movie character. Some of her joints are looser than they should be, and her hands, feet and even legs can pop out unexpectedly when posing her. Finally the painted on icicles on her bodice look cheap, especially compared to the rest of her outfit.
