Brookfield Community School, Sarisbury, Hampshire

            The school opened in 1933 as Sarisbury Senior School teaching ages 11-14 being branded a secondary modern school after WW2. The school was later expanded as a comprehensive school as Brookfield School. 

The school consists of buildings from all periods. A very traditional looking 1930s building built around a courtyard that resembles other Hampshire schools of the time it was built and the floorplan of the school would be copied for other senior schools later. 

A 1950s building seems to be an amended version of a design used for a number schools by the country council while the 1960s and 1970s saw a few SCOLA buildings built which vary in appearance with some being modernised. A further wave of buildings where later built in the 1990s and 2000s.
