AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which runs from the Salzburg town of Fusch an der Großglocknerstrasse to Heiligenblut am Grossglockner on the Carinthian side, is one of Austria's most famous landmarks and is considered one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in the world for your excursions. It is also one of the three most visited destinations in Austria! The predominantly Alpine road winds almost seamlessly for 48 kilometres and, hairpin bend after hairpin bend, reaches the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
