Udine è una città accogliente e vivace e negli ultimi anni vengono proposte iniziative culturali, gastronomiche e turistiche che attirano migliaia di visitatori dalle vicine regioni ed anche oltre confine.
Qualche mese fa nel centro storico sono stati ospitati diversi produttori francesi con un mercatino molto pittoresco....mi ha fatto sorridere la proposta dei loro pregiati vini, a prezzi piuttosto impegnativi, quando sappiamo che il Friuli Venezia Giulia non è seconda a nessuno per la qualità ed il prestigio della produzione vinicola nel mondo.

IT'S LIKE SELLING ICE TO ESKIMOS....

Udine is a welcoming and lively city and in recent years cultural, gastronomic and tourist initiatives have been proposed that attract thousands of visitors from nearby regions and even beyond the border.
A few months ago, the historic center hosted several French producers with a very picturesque market.... the proposal of their fine wines, at rather demanding prices, made me smile, when we know that Friuli Venezia Giulia is second to none for the quality and prestige of wine production in the world.
