Comunemente detta la “piccola Venezia”, Chioggia è una cittadina di cinquantamila abitanti a pochi chilometri di distanza dalla veneziana sorella maggiore: è una città ricca di storia, arte, luoghi di interesse culturale ma è anche un noto centro balneare e meta estiva amata dai veneti e non solo. La piccola cittadina chioggiotta è tagliata a fette da vari canali collegati da ponti, e questa particolare conformazione la rende molto simile a Venezia ma a differenza della Serenissima, è percorribile da automobili e mezzi pubblici.

NO GONDOLA BUT CARS AND BUS

Commonly known as "little Venice", Chioggia is a town of fifty thousand inhabitants a few kilometers away from its Venetian older sister: it is a city rich in history, art, places of cultural interest but it is also a well-known seaside resort and a summer destination loved by Venetians and beyond. The small Chioggia town is cut into slices by various canals connected by bridges, and this particular conformation makes it very similar to Venice but unlike the Serenissima, it can be traveled by cars and public transport.
