Sono le primule a ricordarci che l’inverno è quasi finito e a farci godere la prima fioritura dell’anno.
La primula comprende circa cinquecento specie di piante annuali e perenni, originarie dell’Europa e dell’Asia e appartenenti alla famiglia delle Primulaceae. Il suo nome deriva dal latino “primulus” che fa riferimento alla precoce fioritura di questa pianta, fioritura che avviene non appena finisce l’inverno e i prati verdi iniziano a colorarsi con le tonalità dei fiori della primula. 
 I fiori della primula hanno colori che variano dal bianco, al giallo, al rosso, al lilla e al blu.

SPONTANEOUS  PRIMULAS

It is the primroses that remind us that winter is almost over and that make us enjoy the first flowering of the year.
The primrose includes about five hundred species of annual and perennial plants, native to Europe and Asia and belonging to the Primulaceae family. Its name comes from the Latin "primulus" which refers to the early flowering of this plant, which occurs as soon as winter ends and the green meadows begin to take on the hues of primrose flowers.
  Primrose flowers have colors ranging from white, yellow, red, lilac and blue.
