FRIULI SCONOSCIUTO... - a photo on Flickriver

            MALGA MONTASIO CON SULLO SFONDO IL MONTE CANIN

Da Chiusaforte si risale la val Raccolana fino a Sella Nevea e quindi si percorre l’impegnativo tratto fino all’altopiano del Montasio. Eccezionale il panorama a 360 gradi che si estende dal massiccio di Jof di Montasio, del Jof Fuart e del Canin.
La malga si trova sull'altopiano del Montasio, situata tra i 1500 e i 1800 metri. Si estende su un territorio di 1064 ettari, che si dividono in una zona dedicata al pascolo, un'area dedicata alla latteria, un punto vendita di prodotti lattiero/caseari e, infine, un ristoro agrituristico. Ma la malga offre la possibilità anche si svolgere attività sportive, come trekking, nordic walking, mountain bike ed escursioni guidate.
