La vittoria dell'Italia ieri sera a Webley ha risvegliato in noi l'orgoglio patriottico ed affossato le certezze di successo da parte degli amici inglesi che troppo presto avevano messo in archivio la vittoria degli Europei di calcio.
La spocchia e la prepotenza degli albionici ha reso ancora più dolce la Finale di Londra ma io, da grande appassionato della musica dei Beatles, un attimo di compassione l'ho avuto e la mia esultanza è stata molto misurata....Beatles, Rolling Stone, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple,Black Sabbath, Genesis ecc... sono stati degli ottimi amici della mia giovinezza.

The arrogance of the Albionics made the London Final even sweeter but I, as a great fan of the Beatles music, had a moment of compassion and my exultation was very measured .... Beatles, Rolling Stone, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Genesis etc ... were great friends from my youth.
