SAN DANIELE DEL FRIULI. DOPO LA BUFERA.

La città di San Daniele del Friuli è situata su un colle a ridosso del Monte di Ragogna, a 252 m sul livello del mare.
Come una pietra preziosa è perfettamente incastonata in un paesaggio che si estende tra colline, fiumi e laghetti e che rappresenta una delle zone più suggestive dell’anfiteatro morenico a nord di Udine.
Il clima, particolarmente temperato in ogni stagione, ha reso San Daniele del Friuli meta di turismo internazionale e territorio ideale alla maturazione del caratteristico prosciutto famoso in tutto il mondo .
Con le frazioni di Cimano, Villanova e la località Aonedis gli abitanti sono circa 8.000 su una superficie totale di quasi 35 Kmq. La folta vegetazione e la circostante campagna rendono la zona particolarmente tranquilla e vivibile e, proprio per questo, San Daniele del Friuli è una città che fa parte del circuito “Cittaslow” ed è sede del distretto industriale agroalimentare.
