La sabbia di Bibione nasce sulle Dolomiti Friulane e viene trasportata a valle dal corso del Fiume Tagliamento. Ecco perché possiamo definirla al 100% locale e, priva di apporti artificiali da altre zona, è totalmente in armonia con l’ambiente naturale e la biodiversità. 
Bibione è stata la prima spiaggia italiana a creare la no smoking area: dal mare sino alla prima fila di ombrelloni e nel tratto di arenile antistante il Faro, è vietato fumare. E’ un’iniziativa rivolta principalmente ai bambini che, oltre ad una sabbia più pulita con la quale giocare, possono respirare un’aria ancora più pura e sana.

THE WINTER BEACH.

Bibione's sand originates in the Friulian Dolomites and is transported downstream by the Tagliamento River. This is why we can define it as 100% local and, free from artificial contributions from other areas, it is totally in harmony with the natural environment and biodiversity.
Bibione was the first Italian beach to create a no smoking area: from the sea to the first row of umbrellas and in the stretch of beach in front of the lighthouse, smoking is prohibited. It is an initiative aimed primarily at children who, in addition to cleaner sand to play with, can breathe even purer and healthier air.
