D6593 at Waterloo - a photo on Flickriver

D6593 at Waterloo

            D6593 approaches Waterloo with ecs for a "Cathedrals Express" trip on 6 June 2001. D6593 was new in March 1962 and became 33208 under TOPS. It was withdrawn from service in February 1997 and moved into preservation. I'm not sure who its operator was at the date of my photo, but this loco is currently in store at Worksop.

I've no idea, either, what the motive power was for the "Cathedrals Express" was on this date, as there is no entry for 6 June 2001 on the SixBells website....
