Canton Open Day - 1970

            Although Canton had a large allocation of 37s in the 60s and 70s split-box locos were fairly rare there. This is 6789 at Canton on an Open Day on 7 November 1970. 6789 was a Tinsley loco at this date, and was renumbered 37089 under TOPS in February 1974. It later became 37708 and was withdrawn in July 2000. 37708 was cut up at Booths in Rotherham in March 2008.
