D832 at Bristol Temple Meads - a photo on Flickriver

            A UID Warship arrives at Bristol Temple Meads on the 13.55 Plymouth-Leeds on 18 October 1969. Many of the prospective travellers will have just attended the Open Day at Bath Road depot on this day. I prided myself on keeping careful records of every train I photographed from about 1975 on, but it seems I was fairly careless prior to this, as I can find no record of the loco in this photograph. Looking at the number on an enlarged version of this pic it looks very much like D832, which was named "Onslaught". D832 was withdrawn in December 1972 and was then used by the Derby Research Centre at its Old Dalby test track for a few years before passing into preservation, to become one of the only two Warships to be preserved.

If anyone can confirm that this is D832 (or that it's definitely not D832)  I'd be very interested.
