Curious cow, Newcastle, Texas - a photo on Flickriver

            Here's a cow getting a close look at the twin pipe bumper on my Jeep. Because of the nice weather we were running with the doors off and it had just finished checking out the interior. It then moved to the back and began looking underneath, when it started examining the bumper while moving its head up and down... and side to side. I think it saw a small distorted reflection of itself moving around. I wish I had a video of the action, The other cattle stood around in a group watching the "inspector". A half dozen calves kept their distance.
