Angel in distress, Young County Texas, Iscorama anamorphic

            Taken on another visit to the Tonk Valley Cemetery on Rosser Ranch Road, south of Graham, Texas. In the sixteen months since the photo previously posted was taken, this cemetery decoration has made its way 50 yards from the grave where it sustained feral hog damage... to a trash barrel just outside the fence at the northwest corner of the cemetery. I had photographed the trash barrel in December of 2019 because it contained an interesting arrangement of junk artificial flowers, snuff cans and other "not always photogenic" material. In getting this photo (16 months later), the trash was the same, just rearranged a bit by the trash barrel having been tipped over. The angel seems to be offering us a view of the rotted out bottom of the barrel.
I'll be visiting this cemetery again in late May and if I see the same barrel with the same trash still at the corner of the fence, I'll probably call the cemetery office in Graham and request a trash pickup. I have the phone number.

Taken with a Nikon D3500, with a Nikkor-H 85mm f/1.8 lens focused at infinity, fitted with an Iscorama Anamorphic Lens (1968 version)... also focused at infinity, with a series 9 Tiffen Photar 1/2x close-up lens on the Iscorama.
