EBT McMullan's Summit Silhouette - a photo on Flickriver

            Back in ancient times when I was in the last months of my 40s, I went to one of the East Broad Top Railroad's annual Fall Spectaculars. On these occasions, the Eastie pulled out all operable locomotives, all working rolling stock and put on a great show for two days. It was such a cornucopia that camera-toting railfans such as myself could not resist the resulting engorgement. 
I have mentioned that I didn't have control of the camera until January 17, 2009. That date was not to happen for 4,354,560 minutes, or 99 months, 10 days or 3024 days but who is counting?
Previous to 2009, I would often find myself taking a photo and while I was doing it, I would be asking, "Who am I taking this for? No magazine would want this and no railfan would want to look at it." 
At this remove, I would guess I would have to say that I was taking it for myself. I think this one was caused by impatience; I couldn't resist the urge to release the shutter. It was the bot in me: "Must..shoot...must..shoot...now!" 
So I did compose the best I could, getting lots of cloudly sky, bare trees, railfan rears, and a tiny train.
This shot is from my recently scanned slides, slides that have never been shown to anyone before, slides I have not looked at myself in 20 years.
