Stowford Waterfall - a photo on Flickriver

Stowford Waterfall

            I couldn't find anything whatsoever about this waterfall, so I am assuming it's more of an 'outfall', than a full blown waterfall.....although it looks pretty good, and is a good 10M high!

The source appears to be from the Arjo Wiggins Papermill, at Stowford, Ivybridge, Nr Plymouth, Devon. There are huge amounts of water needed in paper making, and the mill pumps water from the adjacent River Erme, but the mill is reported as closing 12 months ago, so why the huge amount still being discharged?

A real nightmare to get close to, including a near vertical decent, and lots of rock hopping across the river Erme.
Worth the effort though, and a half decent result in bright sunlight!
