Elk Theater - Elkhart, Texas - a photo on Flickriver

            There doesn't appear to much info about the old theater. It's believed that it was operational prior to the 1950s and can't say when it closed. It was being used as a church when I stopped by. I loved the old venetian blinds in the windows in the building to the right of the theater. The small East Texas town of  Elkhart was founded in 1851. Elkhart,TX.  4.29.2012
