Texas Theater - Marfa,Texas - a photo on Flickriver

            I can't find information on when the Texas was built or when it was shuttered. It certainly was around when the movie Giant was filmed outside of Marfa in 1955. There is conflicting information about where the movie dailies where viewed by director George Stevens. Some say the Texas and others say the Palace Theater. The two theaters still remain across the street from each other and have been closed for decades. Marfa,Texas. 6.9.2017.
