Caboodle Mica DIY, Beaconsfield Street, Acomb, York

            Caboodle DIY shop was created in a former house, part of a long terrace in Beaconsfield Street. The street is one of three built in the late 19th century parallel to the York to Wetherby road linking the old village of Acomb with York. The shop has a surprising array of goods in such a small space. We have been here for such items as window stays and electric light bulbs, all of which we needed in pairs that the shop supplied from its partner shop at short notice. Drawn in a Moleskine A5 sketchbook with a Staedtler Pigmentliner 0.05 pen with watercolour.
