View from the bedroom window - a photo on Flickriver

            Jute Road seen from the bedroom. I drew this view a few weeks ago but discovered this different angle  after getting something from the wardrobe. The houses were built in about 1947-48, to several designs which provide homes of different sizes. The hill was formed at the end of the Ice Age, when the ice sheets were retreating and creating glacial moraines. The drawing took about two and three quarter hours, quite a while for an urban sketch but it was snug in the bedroom while wind howled outside.
